Very excited that My parents and Michael's mom will be able to be at our upcoming ultrasound on March 23rd! I really wanted them there so they could be with us when we find out what we are having! I'm getting super anxious! We think we have a girl's name picked out, Paisley Marie but we have yet to agree on a boy's name! LOL Of course it may all change who knows! We are waiting to pin down names until we know for sure what we are having!
I think I felt the baby move today for the first time! I was editing at the computer and felt some fluttering feeling in my stomach for a few seconds and it made me stop so I could see if I could feel it again, but it only did it that once for a few seconds! : ) Can't wait till I know for sure its the Baby!

14 week check up
Went to the doc yesterday for my 14 week check up and everything is going great! Heartbeat was a strong 160 and you could hear the baby kicking on the Fetal Doppler! Pretty neat!
My husband informed me that I have officially started looking pregnant! LOL at least a little! My back is starting to be sore but other than that everything is going really well!

Fetal Doppler---Baby's heartbeat at 13weeks 4 days!
We purchased a used Fetal Doppler from a girl on http://www.babygaga.com/ and we got it today! It was the perfect Valentines day gift! It took a little bit to figure out exactly how to use it and what you were hearing but once I figure it out its super neat! I just love being able to hear the baby's heartbeat whenever I'd need reasurance everything is ok or when I just want some bonding time with the baby! Love this!
Were Pregnant!
We found out on December 13th 2010 that we were Pregnant! We were really nervous and excited all at the same time! I have been undergoing several health issues over the last year or more now and I wound up in the hospital within days of finding out we were pregnant. I was there for about a week and the baby was just fine and I was given lots of meds and procedures to try and fix my health issues.
We had an ultrasound on December 30th 2010 and found out we were 7 weeks pregnant! We were able to see the heart beating and it was a good 131! It was very neat to get to see it...even though it just looked like a little peanut! lol
Over the last few weeks I have experienced several pregnancy symptoms from breast tenderness, extreme hunger, being really tired, and being emotional! I was very lucky to have very little nausea to barely none at all!
I am seeing a team of Maternal Fetal Doctors at OU medical center for high risk pregnancy due to my health issues, being diabetic, and having a previous miscarriage. I really like my team and they have been very supportive and helpful!
We went in for a 10 week check up and we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat with a fetal doppler for the first time! It was very nerve racking at first because it took a little while to find the heartbeat...but once they did it was a very strong 172 and we couldn't have been more excited!
We had another ultrasound on February 2nd 2011 for our first trimester scan. I wasn't sure if we would be able to make our appointment due to a huge snow storm that came through Oklahoma the day before, but we ventured out very carefully and we made it safely!
It was the neatest thing to see your little baby really look like a baby for the first time! We got to see it move around and kick and everything! The baby loved to lay its hand on its head and we wonder if its something that they will continue to do even after birth!
The doctor told us the baby looked good and we got the results back and everything was in normal ranges!
They will do a 2nd Trimester scan on March 23rd and that will include a full anatomy scan including finding out the sex of the baby! We can't wait! Michael and his mom think its a boy...but my family and I think it might be a girl! I guess we'll just wait and see!
